Scope of work

List each item, how many units of it, and what each unit costs. Each line is quantity times unit cost, and they add up to your subtotal.

Contingency and footprint

Contingency (%)The buffer you carry on top of the subtotal — your own figure, nothing is prefilled. A common rule of thumb runs lighter for a cosmetic refresh and heavier for a full gut.Building square footageAdd your building’s square footage to also read the cost per square foot.
